It’s Less is More’s 8th birthday and the challenge #388 is Navy & Yellow. On Yupo paper I added navy & yellow alcohol inks, making sure that they didn’t blend together …avoiding green 😉 I then die cut the poppy stem and added a glitter bird along with a yellow feather, both Memory Box Dies. The duo were grounded with some navy watercolour and a Happy Birthday tag was added. Happy Birthday LIM 😀
Thanks for stopping by, HUGz Joanna
Bises x

Gorgeous Jo, beautiful colour selection and love how you kept the colours from mixing. The feather is a great addition to make your little bird image 🙂

I love how you’ve done these flowers, Jo, and the glittery bird with a feather is a wonderful touch! All that white space makes the patterns of the alcohol ink show beautifully!

You always make your die cuts into a work of art! How tastefully this is done. Love the feathers on your bird too- great added texture. You really do inspire me, Joanna, and many times I buy dies that you used. You deserve a commission!
