It’s been a while since I’ve been in my crafty corner. So today my mojo got inspired by 3 challenges:
Less is More #374 “Bits Box” Color Throwdown #499 & CAS Colours & Sketches #278
The yellow embossed Memory Box branch & the gelli plate blue print of Alexandra Renke Magic Blossom dies were both in my UFO box (Less is More). So I grabbed 110lb card stock and cut it to make a top folding card. Then I used a Sizzix Mix Media #4 to create the diagonal bottom for the #278 Sketch Challenge. Since I needed green (Color Throwdown) and a rectangle (CAS Colours & Sketches), I used my Mark It Alcohol markers to create a green vellum piece. I assembled the card together and gave the vellum a spritz of 99% Alcohol to get the spotty appearance. A quick card with no fuss.
Thanks so much for stopping by, HUGz, Joanna
WOW ! Absolument superbe, Joanna !

Oooh! What a yummy idea – love the intricate die to your card front and what fun idea and design … I may have to CASE that one. Love your ‘UFO’ – named box … that’s a classic and delighted that you were able to rescue some items to use in this gorgeous CAS card. As always thanks for joining us at Less is More

Love this lacy corner, Joanna, and the intertwined branches! Spritzing the alcohol ink piece made a very interesting look for the background! It’s always good to use up those bits!

Love that colour combination! And the way you twisted the stems together and used the die cut to cut the diagonal line of the sketch.

Vibrant colours, loving the layout and your wonderful and unique card. The vellum and the spray looks great and fabulous combining of the three challenges. Great ‘bits’ from the bit box too x
