CCS#383

A great sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches #383 for this outline flower die from McCollection. I inked up the die with some faded jeans DOX and dry embossed on Bristol paper. I watercolored the interior and added some Wow Glitter EP before the water totally dried. For the third bloom I die cut the perimeter in watercolour paper, inked blended and zapped some glitter EP. for the interior, several layers of tissue paper were die cut, the top layer stamped with a Hero Arts tree stamp for the texture and again heated with EP. The center is a drop Nuvo glitter. A distress look was added to the card base and it was done.

Thanks for stopping by, keep SAFE, HUGz, Joanna

  2. Such pretty flowers, Jo! Love how well the inked die embossed the outline and the stamped tissue paper as well as the bits of glitter make these flowers fantastic! Awesome card, my friend!

  3. I have never figured out the embossing with dies but how I love the way this looks! I love that you kept two blossoms plain and decorated the last one. Your creativity has no limits and I love seeing your cards.

  4. This is so clever, I really love that third flower, it looks so special next to the plainer ones, which are nice too in their own way. Love the edge detail and the fact you haven’t used a sentiment. When I first made cards I never put a sentiment on the front, for me it is quite a rent thing and there are definitely times when it is nice to go without xx
